Mr. Joe

Originally from Buffalo, Mr. Joe graduated with a BFA in dance performance in 2001 from the University at Buffalo Department of Theatre and Dance. He moved to Houston, became a member and choreographer of the Houston Metropolitan Dance Company, and performed at the Pink Ribbons Project, the Illuminations Project for World AIDS Day, and the Jazz Dance World Congress. He has choreographed for Levi Strauss and part of Pink! The Musical. Joe currently resides in New York City, where he is a member of the notable Elisa Monte Dance company. He began teaching for Boni’s in 2003, and he returns frequently to teach master classes and continue choreographing for Boni’s En Toure, as well as other institutions in the Houston area.
