Miss Christina

Miss Christina is originally from Baton Rouge, LA but received the majority of her dance training in Phoenix, AZ. She trained primarily at the School of Ballet Arizona but also attended summer programs at Boston Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, and the Bolshoi Academy in Vail, Colorado. Christina became a member of Ad Deum Dance Company in 2000, touring both nationally and internationally as a principal dancer. Christina has been teaching at Boni’s since 2001 and choreographing for Boni’s En Toure since 2004. She is now the Director of Ballet at Boni’s and enjoys directing the annual Woodlands Dance Company Nutcracker and bi-annual Spring Ballet. Christina also has the privilege of teaching at the Ad Deum Summer Dance Intensive, the Dance Revolution Convention, and Houston Ballet’s Summer Program. Christina is the wife of Cheyenne Schanta and the proud mother of daughters Sera and Julia.
