Miss Boni
Bonnie Schuetz, better known as Miss Boni, is the owner and director of Boni’s Dance and Performing Arts Studio’s I (opened in 1984), II, as well as her two performing companies~Boni’s En Toure and The Woodlands Dance Company. Bonnie is also the director of the National League of Junior Cotillions for The Woodlands area and recently won the President’s award at the national convention in North Carolina. She is most proud of her recent honor as Hometown Hero. Bonnie is on the Board of Class Act Productions and enjoys choreographing for the company. Her repoitoire includes Annie, West Side Story, The Sound of Music and Beauty & the Beast, and The Wizard of Oz. She has performed and choreographed for the Crighton Community Theatre including, Best Little Whorehouse, Music Man, Hello Dolly, West Side Story and Broadway Review. She began her dance training at the age of 8 and has studied with well known teachers such as Frank Hatchett, Joe Tremaine, and Luigi. She continues her dance training in New York at the Broadway Dance Center, Steps and Dance Ad Deum. She lives in Magnolia with her husband Chuck and 3 children.
