Miss Allie
I received the majority of my dance training right here at Boni’s Dance and Performing Arts Studio. I began dancing at Boni’s when my mother, Mrs. Traci, was hired in 1994. I also danced in The Nutcracker every year beginning at the age of 8. I danced practically every role between Ding Dong Mouse and the Sugarplum Fairy. My mother encouraged me to join the MET, now known as Boni’s En Toure, when I was about 12 years old. I competed with the team until I graduated from The Woodlands High School in 2006. I decided to attend Louisiana State University, and throughout my 4 years there I was a member of the LSU Dance Ensemble and performed in their Spring Concert every year. I graduated from LSU (Geaux Tigers!) with a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in dance. In fall 2010, I will begin my masters in Occupational Therapy at Texas Women’s University in Houston. Lastly, I am greatly appreciative of the dance training I received at Boni’s, and through working with Boni’s En Toure I hope to instill the members with the same knowledge that I was given.
