Miss Boni
Bonnie Schuetz, better known as Miss Boni, is the owner and director of Boni’s Dance and Performing Arts Studio’s I (opened in 1984), II, as well as her two performing companies~Boni’s En Toure and The Woodlands Dance Company. Bonnie is also the director of the National League of Junior Cotillions for The Woodlands area and recently won the President’s award at the national convention in North Carolina. She is most proud of her recent honor as Hometown Hero. Bonnie is on the Board of Class Act Productions and enjoys choreographing for the company. Her repoitoire includes Annie, West Side Story, The Sound of Music and Beauty & the Beast, and The Wizard of Oz. She has performed and choreographed for the Crighton Community Theatre including, Best Little Whorehouse, Music Man, Hello Dolly, West Side Story and Broadway Review. She began her dance training at the age of 8 and has studied with well known teachers such as Frank Hatchett, Joe Tremaine, and Luigi. She continues her dance training in New York at the Broadway Dance Center, Steps and Dance Ad Deum. She lives in Magnolia with her husband Chuck and 3 children..
Miss Jenny
Miss Jenny began her training 25 years ago at Miss Rhonda’s School of Dance in Spring, TX. She has trained in all genres of dance, but her field of expertise is in tap. She has studied under such tap masters as Debbie Dee, Bill DeRicco, and Bo Wagner. Jenny began teaching 15 years ago at Kristy’s School of Dance, where she taught and choreographed for all ages and levels. She eventually moved to Boni’s Dance Studio in 2001, where she currently instructs the advanced tap technique classes and choreographs all tap routines for Boni’s En Toure. She has received numerous choreography awards, and her dancers have achieved regional and national recognition for entertainment and overall high score placement every year. Jenny has a Bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State in Criminial Justice, but is currently working as a dance teacher by night and a stay-at-home mom by day. Miss Jenny lives in Spring, TX with her husband Ryan and son Jacob.
